Discover one of the most brilliant screenwriters behind series like ‘The Young Pope’, Terry Gilliam films such as ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ or the upcoming ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’. Saturday the 22nd of April at 16:00 at the CCCB Hall.
Tony Grisoni is one of the minds behind ‘The Young Pope’, the madness that has managed to divide hardcore seriephiles and, at the same time, earn unanimous respect. He also wrote the cult movie ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ with Terry Gilliam, of whom he’s a recular collaborator, and creator of shows like ‘Southcliffe’ and ‘Red Riding’. Grisoni has proven along his career a brilliant capacity to combine popular icons with obscure references and alternative narrations.
At Serielizados Fest, Tony Grisoni will talk with Toni Garcia Ramon about the peculiar process of writing ‘The Young Pope’, the twenty year ordeal that led to the final shooting of ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’, the influences and goals of such a varied career and, in short, anything that comes up.
At the end of the conversation, the first episode of ‘The Young Pope’ will be screened.
