PRO Session: TV Series, a global challenge. A look into Coproduction and International Sales

This edition’s Pro Session will be focused on the conception other European countries have about Spanish productions. Friday the 21st of April at the CCCB Auditorium

The panel entitled ‘How are Catalan and Spanish TV Shows seen from abroad?’, dedicated to analyzing how local productions are seen from abroad, moderated by Concepción Cascajosa, will be one of our activities aimed at industry professionals.

Among our guests, Eric Vogel will be in Barcelona to explain the process of creating ‘Valkyrien’, a coproduction between Tordenfilm and Fridthjof Film for NRK, with the support of Danish TV2, which came to life after 2015 Berlinale’s CoPro Series Pitching. To discuss a case from the south of Europe, Javier Méndez, responsible of fiction in Mediapro and executive producer of the series, will explain the development of ‘The Young Pope’, one of the most surprising series of 2016, coproduced between Italy, Spain, France and the United States.
