We start a new cycle, Serielizados Next, with a marathon dedicated to the most read Castilian writer in the world: Isabel Allende.

With the participation of starring actress Daniela Ramírez.

The series ‘Isabel: La historia íntima de la escritora Isabel Allendeis the selected premiere for the first session of Serielizados Next, the new cycle that we open in this edition of the festival. It is an initiative that will run throughout the year, in collaboration with Acció Cinema and La Vanguardia. A selection of sèries with a feminist, vindictive and inclusive vocation. Serielizados Next will be focused in the main subjects of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The cycle starts with the exclusive premiere in Spain of this fantastic production from latin america, focused on Isabel Allende’s life. A world reference as an independent and successful woman, Allende has been able to explore social taboos regarding the role of women in society, as many of her books can show.

This three-episode biopic series also talks about this, chronicling Isabel Allende’s personal career. First as a journalist and later as a best-selling author. From his beginnings in Chile to the political exile caused by the 1973 coup d’état. From his first broken marriage in the 1980s to the death of his daughter in 1993.

An exceptional life that has been adapted to the screen by Jonathan Cuchacovich (screenwriter) and Rodrigo Bazaes (Director) and interpreted by the actress Daniela Ramírez, who will be the exceptional guest for this three-episode marathon at the Serielizados Fest.
