Kids: ‘Mironins’

Kids: ‘Mironins’

The Serielizados Fest presents this new session, ideal to take the little ones at home to the festival. Because the important thing in series addiction is to start early.

‘Mironins’ is the star of our first session for children. An animation film, for the little ones aged  from 3 to 8 years old, in which the work of Joan Miró comes into life through multicolored funny adventures. Created by Mikel Mas and Celia Rico (Goya’s nominee for ‘Viaje al cuarto de una madre’), the series puts together various styles of animation to bring the world of the Catalan artist closer to the current audience.

In an hour, we will watch the 8 chapters of the series. Eight stories in which the “Mironins”, the three droplets of paint, are the protagonists. Blu, Ro and Low are brought to life when the museum closes its doors and immerse themselves into the endless artistic universe of Joan Miró.

Mironins will live incredible adventures travelling from one work to another, overcoming unexpected difficulties, learning from their own mistakes and meeting the most surrealistic characters.

‘Mironins’ is a co-production of Low Films, Cornelius Films, Wuji House, Peekaboo Animation, Hampa Studio, Walking the dog, Televisión Española and Televisió de Catalunya. With the collaboration of ICEC (Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals), IVAC (Institut Valencià de Cultura), À Punt, Ketnet, VAF (Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds), Media Europa Creativa, GAC (Guionistes Associats de Catalunya), Fundació Joan Miró and  Successió Miró.
